BLM Welcomes Volunteers to Participate in Hometown Pride Cleanup

Susanville residents interested in sprucing up the grounds at the Susanville Trailhead for the Bizz Johnson Trail are welcome to participate in the community-wide Susanville Hometown Pride cleanup event, organized by the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce, this Saturday, April 20th.

Volunteers for the community event will meet at 9:00a.m. at the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce office, 1516 Main Street to join teams working on various projects.

Staff from the BLM Eagle Lake Field Office will focus their efforts on the Richmond Road Trailhead, at the caboose near the historic railroad depot.

The Chamber of Commerce event welcomes volunteers for tasks including weed pulling, power washing sidewalks, and picking up trash and recycling.
