Bonnie Elsie Brown passed away on November 24, 2022, at her home in Janesville, CA. She was born to Bernard and Bernice Boyd on June 3, 1942, in San Diego. She married Walt Brown in 1967 and they moved to Lassen County in 1975.
She has had several jobs over the years but retired from CHP in 1998. Bonnie had a great love for animals of all kinds, wild and domesticated. Over the years, she rescued many dogs and cats and made them members of her family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and Brother Bruce. She is survived by her husband, Walt; three step-sons, Ron, Scott and Rick; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and her Brother Sonny of Janesville.
Bonnie requested private services. Donations may be made to the Lassen County Humane Society or other animal rescue organizations, in her name.
