Flooding, caused by several days of impressive rainfall totals in the Honey Lake Valley, has forced the Lassen County Road Department to close two Lassen County roads.
Byers Pass Road and Rice Canyon Road at Highway 139 all the way down to High Desert State Prison will be closed until further notice.
According to Lassen County Office of Emergency Services Chief Mark Rotlisberger crews will continue to assess the roadways and reopen when flooding has subsided.
