Lassen County Public Health and the Lassen County Health and Emergency Preparedness Coalition is pleased to announce every public school in our county is now equipped with an AED.
The American Heart Recognizes the Chain of Survival including:
- Early Access
- Early CPR
- Early Defibrillation
- Early Advanced Care
When all FOUR links of the Chain of Survival are strong, survival rates for victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest can rise from 5% to as high as 49%.
To help Lassen County citizens complete the Chain of Survival we will be offering FREE CPR and AED trainings this Friday and Saturday. Registration and certification are free to all participants.
