Lassen Rural Bus has let us know they are now providing regular bus service to the Leavitt Lake community. Service is provided twice a day, each Tuesday and Thursday.
A bus leaves Riverside Drive, Wal-Mart at 8:15 in the morning, travels down Center Road with a stop near CCC at approximately 8:30. The bus then continues, passing through the Leavitt Lake community around 8:35.
After that the bus continues on with stops at Johnstonville store, Susanville Auto, and back to Riverside Drive in time to connect with the 9:00a.m. City Route bus.
In the evening the bus reverses the route leaving Riverside at 4:00p.m., passing through Leavitt Lake at 4:15, Center Road, near CCC at 4:27, and returns to Riverside at 4:45 in time to connect with the City Route and the West County evening run.
