California Highway Patrol and units from the Susanville City Police Department and the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office have closed Highway 139 north of Susanville. All northbound traffic being held at Spring Ridge drive.
The high speed pursuit began near Merrillville road in the Willow Creek Valley, with the CHP unit requesting backup from local units and a spike strip to halt the vehicle. Scanner traffic indicates that the vehicle being pursued by the CHP has come to a stop off of the roadway.
