LASSEN MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT PLANNED OUTAGE
Lassen Municipal Utility District has been notified by PG&E that they will be transferring service back to the PG&E Caribou system at 1:30a.m. Thursday, December 27th.
This early morning transfer will require an outage to LMUD customers of approximately one hour Thursday morning.
The utility is thanking its customers for their patience and understanding while LMUD and PG&E crews work to ensure that the transfer occurs as smoothly as possible.
LMUD crews have been working around the clock during this recent series of storms to restore power to remote customer sites.
There are still some areas which remain inaccessible to crews, including Eagle’s Nest and the Eagle Lake Youth Camp. Crews will restore power when they can gain access and safely restore power. There is no estimation at this time of when this will occur.
