The California Department of Transportation continues with its Main Street renovation project this week, with work planned from 8:00p.m. Sunday, August 4th until 8:00a.m. Friday morning.
According to this week’s update from Caltrans, crews have completed curb, gutter and sidewalk at various locations along Main Street. Crews also completed electrical work.
Additional grinding and base repair work was performed in uptown this week and the first lift of paving was completed at all locations.
There will be no work requiring traffic control this week as Caltrans adjusts for increased traffic during Reno’s Hot August Nights event.
Paving on Main Street is scheduled to resume on August 12th. Caltrans is currently waiting for the redesign of the Weatherlow ADA ramps to be finalized.
