This Thursday, August 31st, you can ‘Dine With A Cause’ at Lumberjacks Restaurant and help raise funds for Lassen County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates program. CASA’s mission is to provide specially selected and trained community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the county’s juvenile dependency system.
Anyone who presents a special certificate at the restaurant between 5:30 and 9:00p.m., will have 15% of their total bill donated to CASA.
You can pick up a certificate at the CASA office, 1306 Riverside Drive, and there will be some available Thursday night at Lumberjacks.
CASA is a non-profit program under the umbrella agency of Lassen Family Services. The program works in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel and community resources together to ensure that each child’s best interests are protected until permanency is achieved.
