2. All dogs must be on a leash, controllable and on best behavior; otherwise, will be asked to leave.
3. Other small breeds are allowed to race; all large friendly dogs are still welcome to attend, just unable to participate in races.
4. Owners are required to clean-up after their dogs’ accidents. There will be doggy bags supplied.
You can click here to download an entry form and then either email your entry to [email protected] or drop the forms off at the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce.
All proceeds of the race will go to Lassen’s Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children progam. CASA consists of a group of volunteers who assist with children’s needs while they are in the Court Dependency Program. They meet with the children every two weeks and go to every court hearing. In order to supply the judge with recommendations that will be best for these children, they review the entire case records and speak to every person involved: social workers, attorneys, teachers, family members, therapists, and the child.
CASA will be in attendance and supplying information to anyone who is interested in becoming a CASA Volunteer or any other information you are interested in.
This would also be a great time to donate to CASA.Â
