Cat Scratch Fever Fest to Benefit the Lassen Humane Society Happens August 8th

Get ready for a purr-fectly good time as the 2nd annual Cat Scratch Fever Fest comes to Memorial Park on Saturday, August 8th, running from 3:00 to 8:00p.m. This special event is a benefit concert for the Lassen Humane Society, aiming to support their invaluable services across the community.

Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with drinks, games, food, and family-friendly fun, highlighted by live music performances from Jason Judy, Feather River Revival, and Rummy.

Admission is $12 for adults and $7 for kids 12 and under, both for presale and at the door, while children under 5 get in for free. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to sit back and enjoy the festivities.

All money raised at the event will directly assist the Humane Society in continuing their highly successful spay and neuter program throughout Lassen County. Formed in 1985 by a dedicated group of volunteers committed to animal advocacy, the Lassen Humane Society operates without any federal, state, or local government funding.

While they occasionally write for grants, those funds are competitive and hard to come by, making annual fundraisers, memberships, and local donations their primary support. Because of this, every dollar raised stays right here to support our Lassen County communities.
