CDCR Reporting No COVID-19 Cases at Local Prisons

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is reporting that at this time there are no reported cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus at either of Susanville’s two state prisons.

As of Thursday afternoon the agency has received notification that nine staff members and one inmate from other institutions around the state have tested positive for COVID-19.

The CDCR emphasizes that currently there is only one confirmed cases of COVID-19 among the state’s incarcerated population.
