The Lassen High Alumni Association’s annual picnic will be held Saturday, June 13th, in Jensen Hall at the Lassen County Fairgrounds and the deadline to register for the event, which includes a tri-tip lunch, is rapidly approaching.
The get-together, which attracts more than 400 people each year, is a great way to keep in touch with classmates and teachers from Lassen’s history.
The lunch menu includes BBQ Tri-Tip, Citrus marinated BBQ Chicken, Joe’s Chili Beans, Green Beans with caramelized onions and bacon, Dressed Green salad, Watermelon wedges, Rolls & Butter, Homemade Chocolate Chip cookies Lemonade and Iced Tea.
Along with the barbecue the Alumni Association will be honoring Sophia Wages from the LHS Class of 1970 as the Lassen High Alumni of the Year.
Tickets for the event, which will be held between 10:00a.m., and 2:00p.m., are $28 per person. Simply click here to download the registration form and return it to the Alumni Association by this Friday, June 5th. Late registrations will not be listed in the program book.
