A new, larger artificial tree with more lights on it will replace the old Community Christmas tree under the Elks Lodge at the top of Susanville’s Main Street this year, and the Lassen County Chamber board members have been hard at working constructing the massive yuletide evergreen.
Unpacking of the tree and some installation was done in the garage at Sierra Desert Properties. The rest of the assembly will take place next Monday, November 24th, when the tree will be moved up the block and installed on the new cement pad at the top of Main.
The permanent concrete base was recently built by Jason Colbert Construction.
