Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Update for week of March 12, 2013

The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, March 14th for the monthly board meeting beginning at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino, in the hotel Conference Room. The board encourages public attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
The 7th Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show is being planned for Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10am to 4pm. If you have a business that fits into the home, garden, or outdoor recreation theme of the show we invite you to participate. Cost is $40 per 10’x10’ booth space for chamber members or $60 for non- members. For more information, or if you would like an application to be sent to you, contact the Chamber staff at 257-4323. The Business and Career Network has customized business assistance available to assist Lassen County small businesses to grow their business. One-on-one counseling, financial & legal counsel, business planning, marketing and loan preparations are some of the many services that are available to assist businesses. This program will offer services to eligible businesses that are at all stages of business development and operation. For more information about the business assistance program and the eligibility requirements contact Terri Hiser-Haynes at 257-5057.
If your business, club, or organization is planning a special event be sure to forward the information to the Chamber office so the information can be added to the calendar and we can help you get the word out about your event. We are also happy to have your event tickets available for sale at the office. This is a free service provided to the entire community.
