Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Weekly Update

The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, December 13, 2012, for the monthly board meeting beginning at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino, in the Hotel Conference Room, Susanville. The agenda will include election of 2013 board officers, the final report on the Magical Country Christmas Celebration, as well as routine business items.
The board encourages public attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
The Chamber board of directors is accepting applications to fill several board vacancies. Chamber members interested in representing the business community and sharing their time and talents by serving on the board are encouraged to apply. The Board is seeking candidates who have business experience, community involvement, and the desire to represent the interests of the local business community. Stop by the Chamber office, or call 257-4323 to receive an application to apply for the vacancy.
Deadline to return an application is December 12, 2012.
The Chamber has ordered a limited quantity of 2013 Labor Law Posters. They are for sale to Chamber members for $25.00 per poster or non-member for $35.00 per poster. The poster contains the mandatory notices that must be posted at each work place. Pre-orders are now being taken. The Labor Law posters are due to arrive by mid December. Contact the Chamber office staff at 257-4323 if you would like to have a poster reserved for your business.
