The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, February 14, 2013for the monthly board meeting that will begin at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino, in the hotel conference room. The board encourages public attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
A limited quantity of 2013 Labor Law Posters are still available for sale at the Chamber office; cost is $25.00 per poster to chamber members or/$35 per poster for non- members. The poster contains the mandatory state and federal notices that must be posted at each work place.
If your business, club, or organization is planning a special event, be sure to forward the information to the Chamber office so the information can be added to the calendar and we can help you get the word out about your event. We are also happy to have your event tickets available for sale at the office. This is a free service provided to the entire community. Thank you to all of our members for your continued support. Your investment makes possible the many Chamber services and events that promote your business, tourism, and relocation into Lassen County. Second dues notices for 2013 have been sent out. Thank you to those of you who have already sent in your renewal. Remember that your Chamber membership is tax deductible as a ‘necessary business expense’.
Mark your calendar to join us as Anytime Fitness hosts this month’s mixer that will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 Chamber Mixer. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend; everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates. Thank you to Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel for hosting the January Chamber mixer.
