Mark your calendar to attend the Thursday, April 18, 2013, Chamber Mixer that will be hosted by High Sierra Collision & Towing, from 5:30 to 7:30pm. They are located at 472-635 Johnstonville Rd., Susanville. Food and no-host bar will be available. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend; everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates and we encourage you to bring a friend.
The Chamber board of directors is accepting applications to fill a board vacancy. Chamber members interested in representing the business community and sharing their time and talents by serving on the board are encouraged to apply. The Board is seeking candidates who have business experience, community involvement, and the desire to represent the interests of the local business community. Stop by the Chamber office or call 257-4323 to receive an application to apply for the vacancy.
The 7th Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 10am-4pm, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Vendor booth spaces are still available. If you would like an application to participate in this year’s show contact the Chamber staff at 257-4323. Information and an application for the Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show can also be downloaded from the chamber website at www.lassencountychamber.org.
The Business and Career Network has customized business assistance available to assist Lassen County small businesses. One-on-one counseling, financial & legal counsel, business planning, marketing and loan preparation are some of the many services that are available to assist businesses thru this program. The assistance program will offer services to eligible businesses at all stages of business development and operation.
