The holiday season is here and the nice folks at the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce are ready for their big annual Magical Country Christmas Celebration, which will be held tomorrow afternoon, December 7th, in historic uptown starting at 4:00, on Main Street, which will be closed to traffic for the event.
The Chamber’s yearly Christmas party has become tradition in Susanville, with nearly two thousand people expected to show up to help welcome Santa to town.
Holiday revelers at the uptown celebration will get to enjoy live holiday music performances, a hot toddy walk and dancing.
Uptown businesses will be open late, and vendors will line the streets with food, beverages, and custom gifts to help with your Christmas shopping.
At 6:00p.m. the Magical Country Christmas parade will start, with floats, dancers and participants moving up Main Street to the tree in front of the Elks Lodge.
The big finale of the parade will be the arrival of Santa, the lighting of the tree and fireworks!
