Still looking for that perfect stocking stuffer? Just in time for the holidays the Susanville Soroptimists are holding their annual See’s Candy Fundraiser.
The candy can be purchased at Margie’s Book Nook, Susanville Supermarket, Giovanna’s, Beauty Addiction and Plumas Bank during normal business hours. You can also call 257-4029.
Susanville Soroptimists raise the money to help the community contributing to scholarships, adopting families for the holidays, girls self esteem program, teen esteem and dating violence awareness day, Project Hope, Lassen Family Services women’s shelter, senior citizen’s utility assistance, Foster Kids Matter Project, Camp Ronald McDonald and many other worthwhile endeavors.
