A Susanville resident walked away from a vehicle rollover on Richmond Road Wednesday with no injuries thanks to her seatbelt according to details provided by the Susanville Office of the California Highway Patrol.
An unidentified 20-year old Susanville resident was driving her 1998 Toyota Camry westbound on Richmond Road Wednesday morning when she failed to negotiate a left-hand curve.
Her vehicle, which had been travelling at around 50mph, ran off the road and rolled-over in the adjacent field.
“Fortunately,” explains Susanville CHP Public Information Officer Kristin Wilburn, “she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the collision and received no injuries.”
“This is a good reminder of the importance of wearing your seatbelt.”
