The Susanville City Council and the Lassen County Board of Supervisors will both meet in a special session at the Veterans Hall on Main Street Monday morning at 9:00.
Discussion will center around the proposed Community Swimming Pool Joint Powers Agreement. The City Council has already agreed to the JPA and the Board of Supervisors is expected to do the same in the special morning session.
The meeting is open to the public and interested residents are invited to attend, participate and express their opinions to both city and county boards.
The new pool committee, once approved, will have the authority and financial ability to settle on a location, a design and then construct and maintain a pool facility in Susanville.
