We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month. “ROOPTOWN 9” NW area covers the west of Grand Avenue up to just West of North Roop Street and from Main to Chestnut Streets. A NW program is a group of people living in the same area who want to make their neighborhood safer by working together and in conjunction with local law enforcement to reduce crime and improve their quality of life. The Motorheads, a Susanville car club, will be collecting toys, clothing and school supplies at their car show and meet on Saturday, December 2nd, to help support the Susanville Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. The car show and collection event starts at 8:30a.m., December 2nd at Carlson’s Tire Pros on Riverside Drive. Donated gifts need to be brought back to Carlson’s before 11:30 to be included in the caravan of gifts to be delivered to the Salvation Army. Gift tickets can also be picked up, and gifts can be dropped off at Plumas Bank in Susanville before December 2nd, to be included in the caravan.
