Generous people in our community along with the Community Church and the Blue Star Moms have put together care packages and sent them off to Lassen County’s active service men and women around world.
The Community Church’s Easter project provided packages for every active Lassen County service man and woman that the group had an address for, plus a few extra boxes for Sergeants overseas to distribute to soldiers who needed the encouragement. Packages have already started arriving at their destinations.
What a great thing for the Blue Star Moms, the Community Church and our town to do. Good job to all involved in this worthwhile project.
