The Community Church of Susanville will be offering a free summer lunch program for local kids during the months of June, July and August. Lunches are available Monday and Wednesdays with exceptions for holidays and days during the week of the Lassen County Fair.
Registration for the program is easy – just call Kristin at 1.530.310.3741 or Tim at 1.530.310.6188. Forms are also available at the church’s office at 65 S. Lassen Street.
Would you like to help with this worthwhile program? You can volunteer at the Community Church on Numa Road Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 8:45a.m. Cash and food donations will also be gladly accepted!
The church is looking for the following items to help stock the shelves for the free lunch program:
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Pre-packaged fruit
- Pre-packaged snacks
- Pre-packaged fruit snacks
- Pre-packaged chips
- Gift certificates to Walmart, Safeway and IGA.
You can drop off donations at 65 S. Lassen Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
