The Susanville Police Department has released details surrounding the arrest of a 46 year-old Susanville resident on a wide range of charges including possession of controlled substances for sale and violating terms of his probation.
According to Police Lieutenant Matt Wood, just before noon on Monday, January 5th, officers from the department conducted a probation compliance check at a residence in the 300 block of Limoneria Avenue in Susanville. As a result of the check and subsequent search of the residence, Timothy Lee McCallister Jr. was arrested for multiple criminal violations.
McCallister was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Lassen County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana for sale, illegal possession of prescription drugs and probation violation. He was held on $20,000 bail.
The Susanville Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Lassen County Probation Department, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Officers from High Desert State Prison and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
The case has been referred to the Lassen County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
