June 21st, 22nd and 23rd the Lassen County Fairgrounds is playing host to some of the best music in the world, as more than a dozen of the hottest acts in bluegrass take to the stage for the 2019 Susanville Bluegrass Festival.
This festival is a favorite California bluegrass destinations for pickers and grinners north of Sacramento, attracting top-notch bands and performers who run the musical gamut between traditional and modern interpretations of the bluegrass style.
This year’s festival lineup includes performances by Blue Highway, the Edgar Loudermilk Band, Red Dog Ash, the Sierra Sweethearts and many more top-notch bluegrass acts.
Admission to the Festival is $30 per day on Friday and Saturday, $20 on Sunday or you can purchase a three-day pass at the gate for $75. Children under 12 get in free.
Wednesday Night Bluegrass Barbecue!
On Wednesday evening, from 5:00 to 8:00 there will be a free ‘locals night’ performance and barbecue featuring great food and bluegrass music by festival performers and camp instructors. The music is free and tickets for the Tri-Tip dinner with all the fixings are $20 a piece. Children 6 and under free.
