Congratulations to Carla McDonald, the winner of a pair of tickets for this Sunday’s Christmas performance by the Susanville Symphony!
The Susanville Symphony will again bring glad tidings and the holiday spirit to Lassen County with its annual Christmas Concert performances slated for tonight and Sunday, December 17th and 19th. The Friday night performance is at 7:00 and Sunday’s is at 2:30p.m.
This is the 18th annual performance of what has become a Susanville holiday tradition, featuring some of our hometown’s best musicians playing your seasonal favorites – Sleigh Ride, movements of the Nutcracker, White Christmas – enough musical cheer to warm the grinchiest of hearts.
Conductor and Artistic Director Ben Wade encourages families to attend the festive concert, promising a performance filled with a little something for people of all ages. On Sunday, concertgoers under the age of 16 get in free with their parents.
“Up and coming solo artist, singer and songwriter Kolby Van Camp will be flying into Susanville for the occasion,” says an enthusiastic Wade. “He will be lending his beautiful and soulful voice to the program.”
Performances are held at the Susanville Assembly of God Church on Richmond Road and premium seats are $30 each, general admission is $22 and you can buy tickets at Margie’s Book Nook or Axia Home Loans. For more information call the Symphony Hotline at 530.310.8111.
