The Susanville Big City Band will perform another great line up of musical favorites from the last 50 years of popular dance music and you don’t want to miss it.
Always a great show, the Swing Band performances are the only place you can find live swing, jazz and fusion music along with dancing in Lassen County.
The musical memories start at 7:00 with some interesting concert highlights to look forward to! The musicians will play your favorite swing band songs like Tea for Two, L.O.V.E, The Look of Love and more.
“There are many reasons why this concert is special,” explains Artistic Director Ben Wade, “First off it is the Symphony Society’s first concert at the Sierra Theatre. The overall vibe of this venue, as we found out with the candlelight concert, is fabulous.”
Wade says that patrons can have wine and beer at intermission, and the concession stand is ready to go.
“Finally,” he says, “being a newly elected board member to the SPAC non-profit, brings things full circle in an abundance of joyous harmony… pun intended.”
General seating is $35 per ticket in advance, ($37.25 online) or $40 at the door. For more information call the Symphony hotline at 1.530.310.8111 or logon to susanvillesymphony.com to find out more.
You can purchase tickets at Margie’s Book Nook, 722 Main Street.
