Congressman James Gallagher is inviting local students to showcase their creativity in a Summer Kids Art Competition!
The contest is open to young artists ages 5–17 living in California’s First Congressional District. Participants are asked to submit original artwork that celebrates the North State, showing something that represents the area where they live and what makes our local communities special.
One winner will be selected from each county in the district, including Lassen, Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama and Yuba.
The winning artwork from each county will be professionally framed and proudly displayed in Washington, D.C., inside the U.S. Capitol Building!
