The deadline to apply for federal disaster assistance has been extended for those impacted by the California Wildfires until November 8th, 2021.
The extension applies homeowners and renters affected by California Wildfires in Lassen, Plumas, Nevada, Placer, Tehama and Trinity counties.
Applicants may apply in the following ways:
- Go online to DisasterAssistance.gov.
- Download the FEMA Mobile App for smartphones.
- Call 800-621-3362 from 4:00a.m. to 10:00p.m., seven days a week
Survivors who may need to request an accommodation or have additional questions can call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (TTY 800-462-7585) from 4:00a.m. to 10:00p.m., seven days a week. Multilingual operators are available.
