A SusanvilleStuff Photofeature
by Jeremy Couso
All over Susanville businesses, clubs and individuals are decorating the town with neat public displays to celebrate the holiday season. From the Chamber of Commerce’s big tree at the top of Main Street all the way down to the Lassen County Fair’s tree display and Festival of Lights this town is looking a lot like Christmas.
One local resident, Janet Corey, decorated the tall, burnt tree alongside Richmond Road in Susan Hills with a single red ornament. The tree sits in a large area scorched by an August 3rd fire and accordingly the ornament, the decorator tells me, is named ‘Hope.’
Whether they are little random acts of Christmas spirit, or massive day-long decorating projects, we thank all of you who are making our town a little more festive this year.
