Law enforcement and emergency personnel searched areas near the California Agricultural Station on Highway 395 Wednesday morning after employees at the bug station reported hearing an explosion and seeing a column of black smoke.
Fearing a plane crash in the area the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office used aircraft to pinpoint a location east of the inspection station and determined it was not a plane wreck, but instead a travel trailer had caught on fire.
