On Saturday, March 24th, the Lassen High School FBLA and LEAPP clubs will be holding a community service walk to benefit the March of Dimes.
The March of Dimes organization helps babies that are born prematurely or with birth defects.
The walk, which begins at 11:30a.m., starts at the Lassen High senior parking lot and will end at the local Starbucks. It is two miles by taking the bike path.
Donations are very much appreciated to walk. You can pick up an entry form at the Susanville Starbucks and the Susanville and Janesville Pizza Factory restaurants.
T-shirts will be sold at the beginning and end of the walk. Starbucks will be selling water and having coffee tasting at the finish line and Club Lassen volleyball girls will be selling cookies.
There will also be a silent auction at the finish line and donated items would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to contribute, or if you need information, contact Kaleigh Smith at 249-2277.
