Dandy’s Summer Pool Party

Get ready for a splashing good time as the Lassen County Office of Education invites the entire community to Dandy’s Pool Party on Friday, August 7th, from 5:30 to 7:30p.m. This fun-filled, tobacco-free event brings everyone together under the theme of “Stars, Stripes, & Poolside Delights” for an evening that is completely free for the entire family.

Families and friends can cool off in the water at the Honey Lake Valley Community Pool while enjoying free Kona Ice, exciting giveaways, and informative resource booths. It is a wonderful way to gather with neighbors, promote healthy choices and enjoy plenty of summer fun for all ages.

Adding to the excitement this year is the introduction of the Sober Grad Duck Race Fundraiser. This special event helps raise essential funds to provide Lassen County seniors with a safe and memorable sober graduation celebration.

Community members can join in the fun by purchasing a numbered rubber duck for $5, giving them a chance to win great prizes when the race kicks off at 7:00p.m. You do not even need to be present at the pool to win.
