Family Connections Conference: Seeing Through a Whole New Lens

Parents, grandparents, foster parents, child care providers, aunts, uncles, babysitters and anyone who plays a caregiving role in the life of a child of any age are all invited to participate in a free conference being offered Saturday, March 12th, at Lassen High School in Susanville. This year the annual event’s theme is, Seeing Through a Whole New Lens.

The focus of the 2022 Family Connections Conference is to get some ideas on how to look at the joys and challenges of parenting through a new lens. Attendees can expect food, conversation and memorable presentation from this year’s featured speakers, The Avery and Brian Experience.

Brian and Avery Baker are father and son motivational speakers who have a passion for building positive relationships. Their story is an example that no matter what happens in your relationship if you are willing to examine, adapt, and maintain a positive outlook, things can always get better. Brian and Avery are also co-authors of the book “Love Wins: 5 Key Strengths to Strengthening Your relationships – A Parent Perspective.”

This day is designed for participants to walk away feeling refreshed, inspired and with some new tools to add to their toolbox.

Attendees can expect food, conversation and great information and according to organizers, parents, childcare providers and educators will all greatly benefit from this event.
