Farm to Table Now Includes Chance to Bid on a Randy Robbins Print

Lassen Land and Trails Trust has announced that the 7th annual Farm to Table Dinner fundraiser will be held at 5:00p.m., on August 17th, at Mountain Meadow Ranch on Wingfield Road, featuring a magical evening of farm fresh cuisine prepared by Chef Tim Keesey.

“This picturesque evening is generously hosted by Mountain Meadow Ranch, a beautiful rural gem that traditionally served as a Maidu hunting camp, first developed into the ranch seen today by George Wingfield in 1902,” explains Farm to Table organizer Amy Holmen.

“Today Mountain Meadow Ranch is lovingly owned and run by the Ellena Family, who have run a well-loved summer camp on the grounds since 1956. Established by Jack Ellena Sr, the stewardship of the land and summer camp was assumed by his son Chip and his wife Jody.”

“Today, Chip and Judy’s two daughters and their families maintain the traditions and care instituted by Jack Sr., including the values of Servant Leadership within the camp; this is inspired by the Mountain Maidu’s “Serve All” mentality and includes stewardship, true listening, integrity, and inclusivity.”

The annual Farm to Table event includes an hors dā€™oeuvres hour, followed by an intimate three course meal paired with fine wines. The three-course meal in the idyllic setting of Mountain Meadows Ranch will showcase locally raised beef and mouthwatering fresh-seasonal vegetables.

This year’s Featured Artist at the Farm to Table dinner is the amazingly talented Randy Robbins, who has donated a 30×20 canvas print of Thompson Peak reflected in Egan Pond to be auctioned off at the dinner.

Farm to Table guests will have the opportunity to bid on this gorgeous 30×20 canvas print from outdoor adventure photographer Randy Robbins.

You can check out more of Randy’s photography at his website and at his uptown Susanville gallery, with a rotating selection of gorgeous prints ready to go home with you today!

Tickets are $150 each and the event has limited capacity and always sells out. Tickets are available online at or in-person at Every Bloominā€™ Thing, Margieā€™s Book Nook and The Golden Poppy CafĆ©.

“Lassen Land and Trails Trust gives its heartfelt thanks to the many volunteers and generous donations of individuals and businesses that support this event and the numerous projects of Lassen Land and Trails Trust. This year we are proud to have Cooper-Garrod Estate Vineyards and Sierra Cascade Nursery as returning sponsors of this special evening. The eveningsā€™ annual auction will include donated spirits and other unique items- all proceeds of the auction contribute to the important fundraising that supports the Land Trustsā€™ initiatives.”

If you have any questions, or your business would like to sponsor this event, please contact the Land Trust at 1.530.257.3252.
