Get ready veggie and fruit lovers because this Saturday, June 1st, is the opening day at Lassen Land and Trails Trust’s Farmer’s Market!

You can bet that when the market officially opens at 8:00a.m. Saturday it will be crowded with folks looking to get the freshest local produce, all natural beef and handmade goods.

You will also find a whole bunch of happy vendors showing off their wares.

“We enjoy getting to know our customers and interacting with them each week,” said Rhonda Meadows, of Trails End Farm. “It is important to know where your food comes from and it’s a great opportunity to get food fresh from the farm,” she said.

The weekly event is a showcase of big juicy berries, freshly baked goodies, fresh eggs, handmade soaps, all natural meat, veggies and handcrafted jewelry.

Visit the Farmer’s Market at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot on Richmond Road from 8:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. every Saturday through October.
