Get ready, Susanville! Everyone is invited to come on down and celebrate the Fourth of July at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce, with incredible support from their generous sponsors, is taking the reins this year to bring you a truly unforgettable, fun-filled day for the entire community.
The event promises to infuse new energy and family fun into this beloved tradition, creating a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate in a big way.
Festivities kick off at 3:00p.m. on the 4th, and will keep going until 10:00.
Lassen County Chamber Executive Director Samantha Whitt says that you will find plenty of summer holiday fun to enjoy, starting with a delightful Craft Fair in Jensen Hall from 3:00 to 7:00, where you can browse and shop from local vendors.
As the afternoon unfolds, you can groove to live music and soak in the festive community atmosphere. Plus, your taste buds are in for a treat with a wonderful variety of food vendors serving up delicious bites and local favorites.
And for the kids? They’ve got them covered with exciting games and activities, including some refreshing water slides to help them stay cool and entertained on a warm summer day! As dusk settles, prepare to be amazed, because the night will culminate in a truly spectacular fireworks show lighting up the Lassen sky at around 9:00.
This celebration, according to Whitt, is truly a labor of love, proudly organized by the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce as a way of giving back and celebrating the amazing people who make our community so special.
