First 5 Lassen Wants Your Input for Community Assessment

firstfivesurveyFirst 5 Lassen County is developing a five year strategic plan and as part of the process they are conducting a community survey to learn about children aged 5 and younger and their families.

The commission is collecting information from individuals across Lassen County to help the group understand what issues people feel are important for young children and their families. The focus of the survey, according to Executive Director Laura Roberts, is to find out what stops families with young children from getting help when they need it.

Questions in the short survey will allow First 5 Lassen to learn what people think will help young children to be healthy, both physically and mentally, be ready to learn and grow and to live in safe, supportive and stable families.

The survey starts by asking for some basic information which includes demographic questions to help First 5 Lassen know what matters most to the different people completing the survey.

All responses will remain anonymous. If you would like to take this survey online, please click here and follow the link.

At the end of the survey First 5 Lassen offers an option to be entered into a drawing for your choice of one of three prizes; a $25 Safeway gift card, a $25 Amazon.com gift card or a $25 Shell Gas gift card.

Each time First 5 Lassen reaches 100 surveys, they will draw another name.  Winners will be notified by email so they can select the prize of their choice. The survey closes March 4th.
