First Annual Lassen Ale Works Home Brewer Competition

Lassen Ale works will be hosting their first annual  home brewers’ competition on Tuesday, October 30th at 5 p.m. They’re inviting home brewers to enter their finest homemade brew. Whether it’s a bock, bitter, blonde, Belgian, stout, steam beer, schwartzbier, hefeweizen, IPA, lager, lambic or kolsch, our panel will taste and judge all entries.

If you win, you will brew your own recipe on Lassen Ale Works’ very nice half-barrel system alongside brewmaster Erik Jefferts and have your name and your special brew promoted and poured from the shiny taps at the Pioneer Saloon. Plus, you’ll get two custom tap handles that are yours to keep after the brewery is done pouring all of your beer.

You don’t have to be a brewer to be part of the fun! Join Lassen Ale Works on October 30th at 5 p.m. for the panel tasting, judging and prize giving. They will have special appetizers to go along with the tasting.
