It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to grow a beautiful dahlia or a squash with no imperfections. Every year people dedicate their spring and summer to planting, watering and pruning, all to showcase the fruits of their labor at the Lassen County Fair.
The floral building at the fairgrounds has been known to exhibit some of Lassen County’s finest blooms and yet over the years the entries have decreased.
But who doesn’t appreciate walking through the floral building where it’s cool during the heat of the fair to take a stroll and appreciate the magnificent array of flowers or spectacular veggies.
Entries for agriculture and floriculture are due this Friday, June 29th at the Lassen County Fair Office. If you are planning to enter floriculture or agriculture during the fair, stop by the fair office and get your entry in or call 251-8900.
