The Lassen Grizzly Varsity football team beat Yreka 21-7 in their home opener. It was a great night for the Grizzlies playing on the new Arnold field.
The JV also beat Yreka 41-22. The freshmen played McQueen on Thursday and lost 41-7.
The Grizzlies will be back in action at home next week. It is homecoming week! The schedule will be as follows:
Thursday October 9, 5:00pm Frosh Football vs Yreka
Thursday October 9, 7:00pm Powder Puff Football
Friday October 10, 5:30pm JV Football vs El Cerrito
Friday October 10, 7:30pm Varsity Football vs El Cerrito
