The Eagle Lake Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest is planning on burning hand piles on the east side of Logan Mountain in the Summit DFPZ project, as follows:
- Descriptive Location: East side of Logan Mountain
- Legal Location: T32N/10E/Sections 7 & 18
- Total acreage: 20 acres
- Ignition is planned: Monday, Dec. 1 – Friday, Dec. 5, 2014
- Duration of ignition: 1 – 5 days
- Duration of smoke production: 1-5 days
- Estimated direction of smoke travel: Varied, depending on conditions.
- Communities or Smoke Sensitive Areas: The piles are located in a remote area and should not impact any communities or smoke sensitive areas. Smoke might be visible from County Road A1.
