The Lassen National Forest will once again have the opportunity to submit an application to obtain a grant from the California State Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division (OHMVR) for consideration for funding in support of the Forest’s on-going Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) program.
The Division is currently soliciting proposals for the 2015 grant cycle, and the Lassen National Forest is applying for a grant that would assist with OHV area patrols and law enforcement.
Preliminary applications for 2015 projects will be made available for review and comment on the OHMVR Division’s website at http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/ beginning March 3rd, 2015. Â A link will be available on the Forest website at www.fs.usda.gov/lassen.
Public comments regarding the Lassen’s proposed project may be submitted in writing to Chris Holland, 159 Lawrence Street, Quincy, CA 95971, or via email to [email protected] by April 6th, 2015.
Public comments will be used to finalize the proposal application. Final applications are due to the OHMVR Division by May 4th, 2015.
