To facilitate camping through hunting season, neighboring districts will help with maintenance so that more Almanor Ranger District campgrounds can stay open through October 6th.
The campgrounds now open through October 6th are: Domingo Springs, Elam, Alder, Potato Patch, Gurnsey Creek, and Battle Creek.
High Bridge, Hole in the Ground, Cherry Hill, and Butte Meadows will close on September 30th as previously announced.
