Frankie Louis Stevenson, 72 a resident of Susanville, California passed away on September 17, 2024, after having fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was 72 years young. Frankie was surrounded by his loving wife Terri Stevenson and daughter Chastity Arnett.
Frankie was born on August 13,1952 in Susanville, California to May and Speed Stevenson. He is preceded in death by his mother May Stevenson (Guibergia), father Speed Stevenson, aunts, uncles and grandparents.
Frankie attended kindergarten through 12th grade in Susanville, Ca. He graduated with Class of 1970 from Lassen High School. He went on to attend California State University, Chico, where he graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration. Frankie had worked several jobs early on but one of his favorites was fighting fire for the Lassen Interagency Hotshot crew in 1974 with his brother-in-law Jerry Gordanier. Frankie earned his living working for AAA for over 30 years.
He married his āSweetieā Terri (Gordanier) July 9th 1977 and from there his beautiful family grew. Frankie and Terri had three (3) daughters Chastity, Micheline and Danielle. Frankieās most prized possession was his family, as he was theirs. His favorite past time was fishing at Eagle Lake with his 5 grandsons and friends. Frankie was a sports enthusiast, never missing a chance to root for his SF 49ers, SF Giants and Notre Dame teams. He was also the biggest fan of his 6 grandkids in every sporting event they participated in. His love and passion for football, baseball, basketball, golf, wrestling, music, camping, hunting and fishing will be remembered and carried on by all his family and friends.
Frankie is survived by the love of his life, wife Terri (Gordanier); daughters Chastity, son-in-law Micah Arnett, Micheline Gunderson, Danielle Stevenson; five grandsons Cole, girlfriend Elyssa, Ty, wife Faith, Gage, Beau and Zack. The apple of his eye, his only granddaughter, Lyla. Frankie was soon to be a great grandpa to great grandson Boone.
Frankie was a very passionate, kind, loyal and loving husband, daddy, papa and friend. There are no words to describe how truly incredible he was. He is and ALWAYS will be āOur Heroā.
