From Chaos to Connection: Family Connections Conference March 16th

Parents, grandparents, foster parents, childcare providers, aunts, uncles, babysitters and anyone who plays a caregiving role in the life of a child of any age are all invited to participate in a free conference being offered Saturday, March 16th, in Jensen Hall at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. This year the annual event’s theme is From Chaos to Connection.

Raising children is the most rewarding, but also the most stressful job there is and the 2024 Family Connections Conference, which runs from 10:00a.m., until 4:00p.m., is a workshop to build emotional intelligence while raising kind, confident, and resilient kids.

The guest speaker will be author Stephanie Pinto, from Sydney Australia.

This day is designed for participants to walk away feeling refreshed, inspired and with some new tools to add to their toolbox.

Attendees can expect food, conversation and great information and according to organizers, parents, childcare providers and educators will all greatly benefit from this event.

Advance registration is highly preferred so that accurate seating, food and materials can be prepared. However, walk-ins will not be turned away. Childcare will not be available.

The Family Connections Conference is a collaborative effort among many community organizations including the Lassen Childcare Planning Council, Lassen County Child and Family Services, Lassen County Office of Education, Lassen HEART and Sierra Cascade Family Opportunities.

Register for the conference now by clicking here and heading over to Eventbrite. For more information contact Jessica Stading at [email protected] or call 530-253-1040.
