With patience and a powerful set of lenses Dr. Bateson captured this photo of Tuesday morning’s full lunar eclipse.
At first, said Bateson, it was cloudy, and then the clouds miraculously disappeared giving him a perfect view during totality.
The next lunar eclipse will fall on October 8th of this year and will be visible again here in Susanville.
