A lot has changed in our little town since SusanvilleStuff began in September of 2003. Our archives contain around 490,000 photos that we have taken of Susanville and the area in the last 15 years and over the next few weeks we will be sharing some of our favorite photographic memories.
October 10th, 2004 was a big day for Lassen County as runners took to the Bizz Johnson Trail for the first ever marathon from Mason Station, near Westwood, down the Bizz to Hobo Camp in Susanville.
It was our first big gallery and we tried to cover it from start to finish, which required a lot of really fast driving on dirt roads through the forest. Woo hoo!
This year’s marathon will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 6th and 7th.
